3D renders of Walt Disney World have begun to sprout up in Google Earth. I heard they were on the way while listening to the Inside the Magic Podcast, and immediately downloaded Google Earth to check them out. So far I’ve only run across the Swan & Dolphin hotel as well as the Italy pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase.
There are promises of further ‘interactivity’ with these structures, including videos, the ability to make reservations and more. Looking forward to checking it all out.

I was wondering if Mola Ram (my ultimate hero) would be a playable character in the upcoming Lego Indiana Jones game. Well apparently you will need a code to unlock him available as a pre-order bonus at the moment, but most certainly available on every single website the day the game is released.
Cover your heart Indy, Mola Ram is coming for you!

Sam Fischer, what happened? I was there on day one to pick up Double Agent but for some unknown reason the game failed to live up to the joy of its predecessors.
I barely made progress in the single player campaign, and couldn’t get into the new streamlined multiplayer portion. I’ve still got Chaos Theory around if anyone is up for a game
Not sure if I’ll be joining Sam on any of his new adventures at this point. If I do, it most certainly won’t be on day one anymore.

Finally picked this little doozy up from Amazon for $19.99 (Scott, yours is at the folks house in your mail bin).
I haven’t put it through the paces yet (are there really even paces for such a device?) but I must say that the thing is MUCH bigger than I was anticipating. I honestly question it’s ‘mini’ status as the thing is much larger than the photo on the Belkin website makes it appear. It’s not just the near 5″ length, it’s the depth of the surge that surprised me which is probably around 2″s (not counting the plug part).
I guess what I really needed was a USB charger as opposed to a USB charger with 3 port surge protection. This might prove too big and bulky to end up in the carry-on, but for checked luggage it’s a no brainer.

As much as I tried to prevent it, my expectations have gotten away from me for this fourth Indy film and I am counting down the moments until its release. There has not been a single time that I’ve eagerly awaited something of this magnitude and not been crushed with disappointment. Hopefully Indiana Jones will be spare us of similar misery and be a film worthy of the series.
With that said, here is a list of a few of my biggest entertainment reappointments:
Weezer - (Green Album) CD
Effortless, lame, boring are a few adjectives that I’d like to punctuate with four letter words when describing this album. After a phenomenal sophomore release and a long hiatus Weezer returns to do little more than drool out of my CD player. It was at this point I wrote them off for dead.
Disappointment rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Halo 2 - Xbox
While years of playing multiplayer redeemed this game for me, it was initially the campaign mode that had me clamoring for its release. After multiple playthroughs of Halo 1’s campaign, I was ready to take on the Covenant and the flood as they invaded Earth.
While I could live with the ‘false advertising’ of the infamous E3 demo, I was utterly let down by the whole of the campaign mode. Combine that with a convoluted story line and a devastatingly anti-climactic ending and I was left holding the feces from the biggest space marine disappointment of all time. Did Bungie sacrifice the campaign mode in lue of multiplayer? That’s the way it felt to me.
Disappointment rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Star Wars - Episodes I, II, & III
The only thing I have left to say about these three films at this point is that I’m over it. I’m over the anger, resentment and hostility I felt towards George Lucas for vomiting them onto the big screen. The story was shit, the acting was shit and the dialog wasn’t anywhere near a level that could be compared to shit. These movies sucked ass so bad they should be banned.
I may have rose colored glasses when I look back at the original Star Wars trilogy, but that doesn’t mean there couldn’t exist prequels worthy of that fondness. What loyal fans got instead was so trite, forgetful and embarrassing that I would purposely leave it off my resume had I been even just a janitor on set of the films.
Disappointment rating: 5,000,000 out of 5 stars
I pray to Shiva that Indiana Jones DOES NOT make it onto this list. It is one of the few remaining untainted greats from my childhood. Hopefully it can stay that way.
COVER YOUR HEART INDY!!!!!

Here is another game I can’t comment on as I barely did more than remove the shrink wrap from it. I picked this up for I believe $8 at a Toys R Us that was going out of business. I picked up two copies actually, and gave one away thinking that would spur some multiplayer but it never materialized. That means this game has sat gathering dust since the day I brought it home.
Not anymore as it is now en route to it’s new owner via Goozex. The game was only worth a whopping 100 points, but thats more good that it was doing me sitting in the back of my game drawer.
So long Rainbow Six 3, I wish I could say you will be missed, but… well… you know how it is.

Thankfully May is pretty light as far as it’s offerings as I have a backlog that has built to epic proportions. I best take care of it by June however, as there are quite a few doozies coming out that month.
First up is Lego Indiana Jones. Lego Star Wars was a a good time (at least episodes I - III) with it’s quirk factor and humor and I expect nothing less from Dr. Jones’ adventures. Its the first time I can actually recall that I’m contemplating picking the game up for both the Xbox 360 (on-line co-op fun) and for the PSP (portable Indy!). If I do go that route I will most likely Goozex the PSP version while I’ll be there on day one to pick up the 360 version.
Next up is Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2. After a long break from the first Open Tee I’ve found myself back on the golf course still fighting my way through the ranks. While I’m sure Open Tee 2 is just more of the same, it’s such a good ’same’ that I’m all for it. There is also wifi multiplayer this time around, but I’m not sure how much I’ll really play that.
Ninja Gaiden 2 is up next, and since I don’t believe there are any multiplayer options I’ll probably wait for a Goozex trade for this one as well. Granted this is Ninja Gaiden, so it may be a looong wait for a trade so we’ll see if I can actually hold off that long.
Alone in the Dark is most certainly a Goozex trade. I’ve never played a prior AITD title, so there is no real urgency here. It looks cool, and I’m always up for a survival-horror good-time.
Last on the list is Secret Agent Clank. Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters was one of the best games I’ve played on the PSP. I’m a little hesitant here with Clank in the staring role, but I have such faith in the developers that I’ll be picking this game up no matter what. I had originally pegged it as a Goozex trade, but I’m re-thinking that decision at the moment - it might be another day 1 purchase as well.

This just keeps looking better and better. It’s fantastic to see Mola Ram in Lego form!
