Need a new bag like a hole in the head, but my plan is to clean out my current bag collection and stick with the ‘basics’.
In that ‘basics’ group I’d like to have a somewhat incognito camera bag. After some research today at B&H it became evident that the 6 Million Dollar Home from Crumpler was just the bag to fill that void.

There was a crucial time where I needed to make a decision between camera bags. It was the Lowepro SlingShot 200 vs. Tamrac’s Velocity 8x. As a huge fan of my velocity 7, I opted for the 8x at the time.
While the Velocity 7 is a great, comfortable bag, the bigger 8x puts a bit too much strain on my shoulder and lugging that bag around for hours at a clip tends to take its toll on me.
I have heard that the SlingShot 200 is much more comfortable so I’m willing to give it a try. And as Rueben from B&H said, you can put a sandwich in it

I’ve been meaning to pick up a replacement Gorillapod ever since I beheaded my current one. Sure, I managed to re-attach it’s head, but it’s hasn’t been quite the same ever since. Amazingly, the Gorillapod GoGo which comes with extra attachments is currently cheaper than the plain, vanilla version so sign me up for one of those.

At $10 a pop, here is something that falls into the stocking stuffer category. I can’t tell you why, but I am addicted to these little guys, especially the Park Series collections. While there are some duds in the bunch (my opinion) there are quite a few that I wouldn’t mind adding to my collection.
