It’s not often that I add books to my wishlist, but this one has come highly recommended to me – and I’m hoping to further my understanding of working with speedlights with it’s contents. Currently $26 at Amazon

I’ve toyed with the idea of picking up a PSPgo but at $250 and less functionality than my current PSP it seems somewhat pointless. Sure, I like the smaller form factor but my PSP isn’t all that much to lug around and by grabbing one of these memory sticks I’ll have the exact same storage that the PSPgo’s internal memory has to offer.
Currently, this card hovers at $60 at Amazon and i’ll admit that I had my finger on the ‘buy’ button for a few minutes already this morning. Had to talk myself down though since we’re flying in the ‘no buy zone’.
Currently I’m using a 4GB card in my PSP and it is packed, so having 12GB of additional space would be simply delightful.

I had all intentions of picking up Little Big Planet when it was released last week, but the hold up on the PSN store put it’s ‘virtual’ rlease into my ‘no buy zone’ so alas I am going to have to wait.
I would have put Little Big Planet itself on my list, but I’m afraid that would confuse things and I would end up with a physical copy of the game when I only want the downloadable version. At 1.3GB though, I’m going to need a bigger memory stick as well.

I never thought I’d be adding luggage to my wish list, but after so many trips with my old faithful carry on it has become apparent that it is time for a change.
With that said, there is no other bag company that I could think of aside from Timbuk2 to fill the void. Luckily, they have just what I need with their Checkpoint bag. It’s pricey at $275, but its something I can see myself using for years to come. Not to mention it has skateboard wheels which just put me right over the edge.

It’s not often that I would need to game with headphones on, but then again it’s not often that I game with 7.1 dolby surround sound.
Don’t need em, but sure as hell want em!

Here is a doozy! I didn’t know this album even existed until a few months ago when I was fortunate enough to get MP3s of the tracks. While I’m thankful to have them to listen to, nothing beats the feeling of tracking down and finding a rare gem such as this souvenir LP from Walt Disney World.
I let it slip through my fingers on eBay a few times due to some outrageous shipping charges but under normal circumstances this album shouldn’t even come close to breaking the bank.

I didn’t think I’d be adding much to my wishlist this year in the way of games as I’ve got my gaming budget down to a science. The Bioshock 2 Special Edition however exceeds said budget, though it is a BIG want for me.
I have sworn off special editions in the past, but this one tugs at my heartstrings too much for me to deny it.
Contents of the special edition include:
# A 13″x13″ premium packaging with special art on both the slipcase and the box cover.
# Three posters featuring vintage ads from Rapture (rolled)
# A vinyl 180g LP featuring the orchestral score from the original BioShock
# CD containing the BioShock 2 orchestral score
# A 164 page 8″x11″ hardbound artbook chock full of developer commentary
All this plus the game for a svelt $99
I am adding this to my wishlist with a HIGH priority even though it won’t be released until February 2010. Amazon gift cards towards the purchase of thise limited edition would be greatly appreciated.

I almost forgot about this guy. I have always been interesting in geotagging my photos, but never took the leap. This is a perfect example yet again of something I really want, but certainly don’t need. I’ve had my eye on the Photograckr Mini DLP900 since I first got wind of it and it looks like exactly the type of gadget I’d want to toss in my camera bag.

Dropping out of the ‘need’ school and enlisting in the ‘want’ army is a new phone in the likes of the Motorola Droid. I have had serious iPhone envy for the past few years, but haven’t been willing to ditch Verizon as my carrier. Feeling very inadequate in the world of mobile communication I had been contemplating picking up a Blackberry device until I got word of the Droid.
My love for all things Google is no big secret, so a phone with an OS that thrives on Gmail is a huge draw to me.
This is near the top of my list along with the S90, but like the S90 I don’t expect to find this in my hands anytime soon unless I pony up the cash myself.

Been a long time since I’ve used this site for its original intent, the cataloging of my wish list. With the 2009 holiday season fast approaching it’s time to correct that lapse and get my list in order.
After chatting with Tim I realized I have been going about this list all wrong. I had been thinking about things I needed more so than things I flat out wanted. With that said, taking the top spot on my wishlist this year is an item I certainly do not need, but oh do I want it.

Canon S90
First up, is the Canon Powershot S90. While the specs on this pocket cam are stellar, I had all but forgotten about it until I recently got my hands on one (someone asked me at a wedding to take a picture of them and handed me their S90).
Sometimes I don’t want to lug my DSLR with me, but still want the flexibility and manual control that the big guns offer. While I know the S90 won’t replace my DSLR, it sure does give my current point & shoot (a Canon SD1100) a run for it’s money.
It’s a pricey sucker though, at a MSRP of $429.99 so I don’t expect to find this gift wrapped for me, but it’s on my wish list regardless.
